Michelle Henderson

Michelle was born and raised in Mesa Arizona. Since Michelle learned to speak, horses have been the topic of conversation she prefers. Horse might have been her first word spoken.

Coming from a family that had no interest in animals, this obsession opened up many new experiences for her parents. At the age of 6 her mom took her to the local trail riding stable. She began riding and took an interest in the western disciplines.

After a few years of western riding, Michelle was bored with the slow paced western horses.  One of Michelle's friends was riding show jumpers and convinced her to come for a lesson. From that day forward, Michelle had found her passion.

With many hours of practice and hardwork, Michelle competed successfully as a Junior on the A show circuit.

In 2000, Michelle made the decision to become a professional. Since then, she has helped numerous horses and students achieve their riding and showing goals.

Michelle currently competes, trains and coaches through the Grand Prix level.

Kyle Henderson

Kyle was also born and raised in Mesa, AZ. He was familar with the quarter horses his grandparents had when he was a kid, but not until he met Michelle did he fully immerse himself as a horse owner.

After 13 years in the aggregate and mining industry, Kyle made the decision to retire from SRMG and devote all his talents to Silver Mesquite. Kyle is our resident builder, fabricator and grounds man. Without him, Silver Mesquite wouldn't look as it does today.

In addition to these duties, Kyle also helps out around the farm by helping to handle and train new babies and youngstock.
